Decorate A Bedroom With Charlie Brown

Decorate your child's bedroom with a Charlie Brown theme if he's a fan of the Peanuts and Snoopy, or if you are a fan. Focus solely on Charlie Brown or include his friends, such as Snoopy or Linus, in the bedroom decor. The room can focus on the mishaps and determination of Charlie Brown or simply include images of Charlie Brown.

Instructions

1. Paint the room with a color or mural that represents Charlie Brown. For example, paint the walls yellow with a black zigzag border to mimic the shirt Charlie Brown is often depicted in. A mural of the Peanuts playing baseball or Charlie Brown and Snoopy hugging is another option.

2. Include simple furniture if you want the Charlie Brown details to stand out. Black or wood furniture are neutral choices and will complement the Charlie Brown theme, as well as work with numerous other themes when it's time to update the room again. Besides a bed and dresser, add a chair and desk if there's room.

3. Use bedding with images of Charlie Brown and the other Peanuts characters, or solid colors that work with the theme. For example, use a yellow comforter and add the black zigzag stripe with fabric paint or by gluing black fabric to the comforter with fabric adhesive if the walls are plain or include a mural. The curtains should complement the bedding.

4. Hang pictures, images or framed posters of Charlie Brown on the walls to solidify the theme. Comic strips can also be framed, or glued to the wall to serve as a border. Paint your favorite Charlie Brown quote on the wall or above the bed if you have one.

5. Accessorize the room with stuffed toys depicting Charlie Brown, books, movies or other collectibles. Snoopy lamps, banks and other items can introduce Charlie Brown's dog without centering the decor on Snoopy.
