Set Up Your Stuffed Animals In Your Bedroom

Organizing your stuffed animals can highlight your collection.

Every child seems to have a favorite stuffed animal. Sometimes that stuffed animal leads to a collection of animals that never seems to stop growing, and this collection can take over an entire bedroom if it isn't organized. There are ways you can display and store your stuffed animals in your bedroom based on the size of your collection.

Instructions

Medium to Large Animal Collection

1. Display stuffed animals in a large quantity by setting them on bookshelves or in cubbies. Shelving storage allows you to see all of the animals at once and makes it easy to get them and put them away.

2. Clean up your stuffed animals easily by keeping them in a toy chest when you are not playing with them. This method makes it harder to find the one you want to play with but makes for a quick clean-up.

3. Attach toys to a toy tree or pole using rubber bands placed around a limb of the stuffed animals. Rubber bands can be tied on to small screw hooks that screw into the pole.

Small Animal Collection

4. Display animals neatly on shelves, bookcases or cubbies. You may also incorporate wicker baskets full of animals on the shelves.

5. Store your collection in a decorative toy box that holds all of your stuffed animals, and keep them out of sight, making your room look tidier.

6. Hang your animal collection in a mesh laundry bag from a hook on a door or wall.

7. Hang your toys up higher in your room by using a toy hammock that spreads across your wall and screws into the wall. This type of storage works best in a corner and above a bed.

Organizing Small Animals

8. Stuff your animals into plastic bins. Find bins that are clear so you can see through them when you are looking for a particular animal. Storage bins are usually stackable and take up less room.

9. Place your smaller stuffed animals into plastic storage drawers.

10. Use stuffed animal chains that come equipped with clips for fastening each animal.

11. Hang over-the-door shoe or pocket organizers on your child's door so she can put smaller stuffed animals into the pockets for easy storage.
