Extend A Round Dining Table

A round dining table can lend a cozy feel to the space, whether it is located in the kitchen itself, or in a separate room or alcove. It might be ideal for you and your partner, with just enough space to accommodate food, wine and centerpiece. Or it might accommodate four, for a group of roommates or a young family. Still, occasions arise when your dining table will have to seat a group of six or more. A round extender table, with detached or foldout leaves, is the ideal solution.

3. Pull out the leaf. If the leaf is stored underneath the table top, you should be able to find it near the opening in the table. if the leaf is stored separately, place it near the table. The leaf will have pegs on one side and peg holes on the other.

4. Put the leaf into the space between the two halves of the table, taking care to line up the pegs and peg holes on either side of the leaf.
