Remove The Upper Spray Arm On A Ge Profile Triton Xl

A socket wrench is needed for this project.

The GE Profile Triton XL is a large capacity automatic dishwasher designed for energy efficient and quiet performance. The upper spray arm inside the dishwasher delivers water throughout the dishwasher during the wash cycle. In some cases, the spray arm can become clogged with debris. Remove the upper spray arm to inspect or replace it.

Instructions

1. Turn the GE Profile Triton XL off. Unplug the power cord, or turn off the breaker connected to the outlet the unit is plugged into.

2. Open the door, then slide the bottom rack out of the dishwasher.

3. Insert the end of the flat-head screwdriver into the gap between the hub cap and the spray arm. Rotate the screwdriver to pry the hub cap off.

4. Remove the single bolt that is now exposed on the spray arm hub.

5. Lift the spray arm up to disconnect it from the hub.
