Make Natural Homemade Bathroom Deodorizer With Oils

Natural, homemade cleaning solutions ensure that you know exactly what ingredients you're using to clean your house. By choosing natural products, you avoid the toxic chemicals in harsh commercial cleaners. Add essential oils to your homemade deodorizers to give your bathroom a pleasant scent.


Instructions


Baking Soda


1. Pour 1 lb. of baking soda into an open container. Baking soda is a natural deodorizer that will absorb odors.


2. Add 10 drops of your favorite essential oil to the baking soda. Essential oils are natural oil extracts that add a pleasant scent to the deodorizer.


3. Mix until the essential oil is evenly distributed in the baking soda.


4. Apply 10 more drops of essential oil, and continue to mix.


5. Place the open container under the sink or in another convenient spot the bathroom. Replace mixture every three months.








Essential Oils


6. Fill a spray bottle with 1 cup of water.


7. Add 20 drops of an essential oil, or a combination of your favorite essential oils.


8. Spray the deodorizer into the air in the bathroom when needed.
