You can make your own tickets using Microsoft Word.
Microsoft Word may be your go-to choice for typing letters and reports, but the program also contains functionality to help you quickly produce other kinds of materials. For your next band concert, raffle, play or dance, you can rely on Word to help you produce event tickets. Word's quick options and templates will have you creating designs that are sure to be just the ticket.
Instructions
1. Open Word, click the File menu and select New. The Available Templates will screen appear.
2. Click the More categories folder, which is the last option at the bottom of the list.
3. Click the Tickets folder. Scroll through the available template designs which include raffle, tour and holiday performance tickets. Any ticket may be fully customized for your occasion or group.
4. Double-click a ticket type. Depending on your computer's speed, within a few moments a sheet of tickets will open in a new Microsoft Word window.
5. Click a text box on the ticket, highlight the placeholder information and type directly over it with your own. For example, highlight the Enter to Win! headline and change it to Admit One to Concert. Repeat this for all of the text boxes on the ticket.
6. Click once on a graphic on the ticket and press the Delete key to remove it. Add a new graphic by clicking the Insert menu at the top of the screen and clicking the Clip Art button. Type a word or phrase into the Search for box and click Go. Scroll through the results and double-click a graphic to add it to the ticket. You can also resize the image if you prefer.
7. Click the Page Layout tab at the top of the screen and then click the Page Color button to give the ticket a colored background. Click one of the small colored squares to instantly update the white ticket background. Skip this option if you will be printing your tickets on colored paper.
8. Click the File menu and select Save As. Type a name for the ticket file and save it to your computer.
