Keep A Bathroom Dry With No Window

Excess moisture may collect on the wall in a windowless bathroom.

Your bathroom is full of moisture from the shower and bath, especially if you like to enjoy a steamy hot shower. A bathroom with a window will let all this moisture out, but if no window is available moisture will collect . If you do not keep your bathroom clean and dry, mildew may build up. Excessive mildew can cause health problems, such as allergy or asthma attacks and in some cases acute lung problems. Cleaning up the moisture in your bathroom is essential.

Instructions

1. Open the door of the bathroom after using the shower to keep steam from building up in the bathroom.

2. Remove any wet rugs from the floor after a bath or shower to prevent moisture buildup.

3. Run a squeegee down the wall of your bath or the glass doors of your shower, guiding the water down towards the drain.

4. Mop up any standing water at the base of the shower, near the tiles or on the floor of the bathroom.

5. Hang towels up on the towel rack to prevent moisture build up.

6. Run a circular fan in the center of the bathroom, facing the doorway, to draw moisture out of the bathroom.

7. Run a small room size dehumidifier to pull moisture out of the air.
