Spider-Man has established himself as many a child's hero -- so much so that Spider-Man-themed bedding exists in a wide variety of styles on the market. If you've given yourself the task of painting the bedroom so that it matches the Spider-Man bedding you've purchased, a number of options are open to you. You can either paint the room floor to ceiling with a Spider-Man motif or pick and choose one wall and a piece or two of furniture to decorate. The room will look more pulled together when you're done.
Instructions
1. Paint one of the walls with a Spider-Man color -- either red or blue. This wall becomes your focal wall. You'll leave the other walls white. Painting one wall a vibrant color will make it stand out. While it is possible to paint all the walls
2. Apply a Spider-Man border to the top part of the walls near the ceiling. If you're good at stenciling or free-hand painting, then paint the border. Otherwise, you can buy a Spider-Man-themed wallpaper border to hang up.
3. Add a mural to the focal wall. Several options are available to you. You can paint a mural if you've got the skills to paint the whole wall from top to bottom in a Spider-Man motif; if you do this, you can skip the first step of painting the focal wall. Otherwise, you can paint a human-sized Spider-Man. For simplicity's sake, you also have the option of hanging a giant wall sticker on the focal wall.
4. Utilize a floor that's not covered in carpet. For example, if the floor is cinder block or an old wood floor that you'd like to paint, you can extend the theme to the floor. To do this, paint the floor red and then paint black webbing onto the floor on top of it.
5. Paint the bookshelf and dresser with the spider webbing and red paint. Do this with the desk and chair set as well. You can also paint Spider-Man himself on the sides of the dresser or on the desktop.
6. Cover bunk beds with the web theme and Spider-Man colors.
