Digital bathroom scales generally run on lithium type batteries, which rarely need replacing. Because of its electronic components, a digital scale is more sensitive to excess weight and to being moved or dropped. But a digital scale has few controls and works similarly to other bathroom scales.
Instructions
1. Place the digital scale on a flat, hard surface before.
2. Press the measurement button on the scale to select kilograms, mass or pounds. Press the button until the correct measurement displays.
3. Step on the scale and stand still. If you have recently moved the scale you may need to step on and off the scale to reset it.
4. Keep standing on the scale as the display counts up to your weight. It will flash or stay at a consistent weight when the final weight displays.
5. Step off the scale and the display turns off automatically.
