How Should I Put A Couch In My Bedroom

Set a small couch at the end of the bed inside your bedroom.

Setting a couch inside a bedroom requires having enough space and optimal placement for the furniture. Bedrooms have become not only a place to sleep, but also a sanctuary to relax and watch television, listen to music or read a book. Add a couch to a bedroom by selecting an area that will not overcrowd the space, but allows the furniture its own domain within the room.

Instructions

1. Set a low-back couch at the end of your bed. The low back allows you to see over the couch, yet provides seating for watching television or putting on shoes.

2. Place a sofa in an empty space along a wall in the bedroom. This space may be under a window or between a closet and entry door.

3. Angle a small love seat into the corner of the bedroom. Set a large plant or lamp in the empty triangle space behind the sofa to give it more depth.

4. Position a couch facing toward one corner of the bed if you have ample space in the center of the room. Leave enough room to move between the bed and the couch comfortably and enough space around the sofa to set an end table and reading lamp.
