You don't need to remodel your bathroom, just add some fresh new color with accessories!
Winter is gone and it is time to give interior a lighter, fresher feel. Spring up your bathroom in no time with these simple, affordable bathroom decorating ideas that can carry your look from spring to summer.
Instructions
1. De-clutter and deep clean your bathroom. Keep your bathroom counter top as clutter free as possible. Do a deep spring cleaning of your entire bathroom and re-organize your cabinets if necessary.
2. The first bathroom decorating idea is to get a new towel that will add a splash of fresh spring color to your bathroom decor colors. Try to pick a color that will feel light and springy, but will also take you into the summer too. I like teal or aqua color. Head to your local TJ Maxx, Marshalls or Ross to get your new spring towel at a low price. Add a complimentary colored hand towel to lay over your main towel. I chose beige because the combination reminds me of the beach.
3. Freshen up your bathroom decor colors with some sea shells. You can use any glass container lying around and fill it with seashells or sea glass to add color. I just found a big conch shell and put it on the counter. (If you watch Oprah, you probably know her best friend designer Nate always recommends having sea shells or something from the ocean in every room).
4. Add a fresh fragrance. Find a fresh smelling reed diffuser or candle that you can put in the bathroom. This will perk you up every time you walk in.
5. Now to freshen up your shower experience, go out and pick out a fresh new invigorating shower wash that will perk you up and remind you of sunny warm times. My personal favorite is by Bath and Body Works, True Blue, Need a Margarita? It just makes me feel light and happy.
