The Trout Inn at Tadpole Bridge is an unusual historic inn 30 minutes from Oxford. Located at a River Thames crossing point in the beautiful English countryside, the Trout Inn has six spacious guestrooms individually decorated with bright, modern decor, an extensive restaurant and pub menu, and a landscaped garden that meets the river. The building was a 16th-century pub, and the inn's pub is currently its most well-known asset. The Inn's six private moorings on the river accommodate dinner guests arriving by boat.

The Feathers Hotel Woodstock
The Feathers Hotel Woodstock is in a 17th-century townhouse in the town of Woodstock near Blenheim Palace and the birthplace of Winston Churchill. Over the years, the building has been a draper's shop, a butcher's shop and a tuberculosis sanatorium. In the 1960s, when the building became a hotel, the owner refurbished the facility and filled it with stuffed birds, hence the name The Feathers that still sticks today. The hotel has 16 guestrooms and five suites in a range of sizes, all refurbished in 2010 with luxury features like plush fabrics, mood lighting and modern design. Guests enjoy casual and fine dining on modern English cuisine and spirits in the hotel's restaurant and bar. Fish and chips, The Feathers burger, Cornish mackerel, sea bass and quail are just some of the delicious menu items. The hotel restaurant offers two different picnic menus for take-out meals as well as a supper club, gin bar, Sunday lunch and tasting menu. The Feathers also accommodates business meetings and wedding events.
