Easily Frame A Bathroom Mirror

Framing a bathroom mirror adds style and charm to your bathroom decor.

Framing a bathroom mirror is an easy way to update the look of the space without spending the money that is associated with purchasing a new mirror. Framing a mirror also allows you to choose the style of frame you love with a mirror that already fits into the space. To frame a bathroom mirror, you'll need measuring tools, glue and cutting tools, which can be rented at home improvement stores.

Instructions

1. Measure the length and width of the mirror with a ruler.

2. Cut four pieces of molding---two for the length of the mirror and two for the width. Cut the end of each piece at an angle so all four pieces line up perfectly against one another. Use sandpaper to smooth the ends of the pieces.

3. Lightly sand the molding. Paint or stain it the color of your choice. Allow ample time to dry.

4. Apply the glue to the back of one piece of trim and press it against the mirror. Remove the mirror and place it on a flat surface, if possible. Ensure that the piece of trim does not slide down the mirror once it is attached, If the mirror cannot be removed. Hold the piece of trim until the glue has dried, if necessary.

5. Glue the remaining three pieces of trim to the mirror.
