Cheetah
The fastest land animal, a cheetah is a tall cat
Walls
Start with fresh paint on the walls. Pick either a cream color or a straw yellow. This will make the room light and cheery and it gives a good base to start from. Take a piece of cardboard and draw a paw print on it. Use a knife and cut the print out to make a stencil. Next dip a sponge in black acrylic paint, which dries quickly and is easy to clean up. Hold the stencil up to the wall and dab the paint into the design. Space the paw prints out so it looks like a cheetah walked across the walls. Let the paint dry and clean everything up with soap and water.
Bed
The main focal point of the room is the bed. Dress the bed in dark brown sheets and pillowcases. You can buy a large blanket with a cheetah on it or create your own look. Measure the bed. Add 2 feet to each measurement. Go to the sewing section of a store and look for a large piece of cheetah-spotted fake fur. Have the store cut the fur to the measurement size. Once home, wash the fur in the washing machine on the cool water setting and dry it with a dryer sheet. The loose pieces of material will be collected in the lint trap so be sure to clean it out. You do not need to hem the fake fur since it does not unravel like cotton does. Just spread the fur on the bed.
Floor
To decorate the floor, buy some black bathroom rugs with a non-skid back. Using heavy-duty scissors, cut large cheetah paw prints out of the rugs. Scatter them from the door to the bed. A black or cheetah-spotted beanbag chair can go into a corner of the room. Look for cheetah- or African-themed decals and put them on some dresser drawers. Curtains and chairs should stick to the color scheme in a solid color. Do not get carried away with spots. A few here and there are fine, but too many will make a visitor dizzy.
