Furniture
Many different styles of furniture fall under the rustic milieu. Unadorned tree branch beds, simple carved chairs and whitewashed dressers all create a rustic atmosphere. Create a stone hearth for the fireplace or invest in a faux bear rug. Cover your bed in a warm flannel comforter and drape a wool blanket over a chair for especially cold mornings.
