Install Undermount Bathroom Sink Brackets On Marble

One of the benefits of having a marble vanity top in the bathroom is the way the sink is attached. Instead of hanging from its rim, the sink is attached with silicone adhesive and mounting hardware to the underside of the marble. Because marble is a hard and brittle stone, these mounting clips cannot be screwed into the marble itself. Instead, epoxy is used to attach them to the vanity, so they can be screwed down onto the sink's rim.

Instructions

1. Flip the vanity top over, placing it upside down on a level surface. Wipe down the area around the sink cutout to remove any dust or debris.

2. Squeeze a thin line of silicone adhesive onto the marble around the sink cutout and lower the sink into place so its rim is sitting on the marble's underside.

3. Mix up the epoxy and dab a small amount onto the marble just next to the sink's rim. Press the stem of the mounting hardware into the epoxy and hold it in place for a few seconds until it grabs. Place the other stems around the sink's rim at equal intervals.

4. Attach the top clip of the mounting hardware to the sink's rim with epoxy, directly lined up with each one of the stems.

5. Wait 10 minutes for the epoxy to dry, then fasten the clip to the stem with the bolt. Tighten the bolt into place with a wrench until secure.
