Instructions
1. Place play mats on the floor that feature cars and race tracks. Not only will they add texture and warmth to the floor, but they can also be used as toys. For instance, your child can roll a toy car on the roads on the rug. For a creative twist, use car floor mats instead.
2. Adorn the bedroom's walls with car-themed wallpaper or borders. Cover all the walls with the paper or place a border along the top or in the middle of the walls. If you'd rather not wallpaper the walls, paint them instead. Use a paint-by-numbers mural kit -- available at many craft stores or online -- to create a car scene on the walls.
3. Hang toy cars from the ceiling for decoration. Tie fishing line around the cars and then attach them to hooks you can install into your ceiling. Doing so will help to decorate the air space between your ceiling and walls.
4. Place car-themed decorations throughout the room. Car lamps and pictures can decorate surfaces and the wall, as can model or toy cars.
5. Purchase a car-shaped bed to place in your child's room. Car-shaped beds are usually available at many bed stores. You can also cover the bed with car-themed sheets and a bed spread.
6. Place a car track on the floor in the child's room. If possible, run the track throughout the entire room. Doing so will add a decorative piece into the room that your child can play with.
