Make Your Own Wall Art For A Glamour Bedroom

Fill picture frames to create wall art.

Wall art can pull the colors of a room together by incorporating the colors or complementing them, giving the room a finished feel. Glamorous rooms benefit by having wall art that works with the theme. This doesn't mean you have to go out and spend a lot of money on art. Instead, you can easily fashion art using easy-to-find supplies for a fraction the cost of a paid artist.

Instructions

1. Cut wallpaper to fit inside a picture frame and insert it. Choose wallpaper that complements the room's decor and keeps with the glamorous theme. Wallpaper can be cut to nearly any size. Use either simple, patterned paper or cut around a shape and mount it in the center of the frame. Use frames that are uniform and neutral so they don't detract from the wallpaper.

2. Decorate the wall with stencils to create a wallpaper-esque look or wall art. Spray a self-adhesive stencil spray to the back of the stencil and stick it on the wall. Use a level and ruler to make sure the stencil is straight in line with the other stencils. Try painting with gold paint on a blue wall. Create a rectangular stencil pattern behind the bed frame to give the illusion of a headboard.

3. Stretch fabric across a canvas picture frame until the canvas is smooth and tight. Use a staple gun to secure it in place. Paint several picture frames in complementing colors. Hang the picture frames around the room to create pleasing forms. These also work as a faux headboard.
