A teenager's bedroom can be the perfect spot to play some games.
When you have friends over at your house, you may have to spend most of the time in your bedroom. Though you cannot necessarily run around or play other more physical games in your room, you can still take part in some fun games perfect for teens confined to their bedrooms.
Name that Tune
Before your friends come over, make a mixed CD comprised of some popular songs from today, as well as some less popular songs from the past. Write down all of the names of the songs as well as the artists in a numbered list. Play only five seconds of the songs to see who guesses the song and artist by only listening to that section of the song. Give that person five points if he guesses correctly. Then, play another 10 seconds of a song and give four points if someone guesses it within that time. Play another 15 seconds and give three points; another 20 seconds and give two points. Finish out the song, and if anyone guesses it before it ends give them one point. Continue this process with all of the songs on the CD. The person with the most points wins the game.
Stuffy Game
If you have a lot of stuffed animals around your bedroom, try this game. Start by giving each of your friends a stuffed animal. Let them have about a minute to try and memorize how it feels, and maybe even how it smells. After the minute has passed, take away all of the stuffed animals and throw them into a big pile, mixing in stuffed animals not assigned to your friends. Blindfold all of the players and let each person take a turn trying to find his stuffed animal in the pile, timing him as he does so. The person who correctly identifies his stuffed animal in the shortest amount of time wins the game.
Blindfolded Portraits
Play this game by first giving each player a piece of paper and a writing utensil. Sit them all down in a circle on the floor in your bedroom, and give them something to write on, such as a book. Blindfold each of the players and tell them that they have to draw a picture of the person to their left. After about five minutes, take off the blindfolds to reveal what the artists have done. Everyone votes on who made the best blindfolded portrait and who made the worst.
