2. Dress the walls of your bedroom with visual items that stimulate the mind and body. That means, remove those family photos and replace them with sensual artwork or romantic pictures. When you are ready to decorate your bedroom, stand in the room, close your eyes, take a deep breath and image what makes you feel relaxed, sensual and playful. When you have that picture in your head write it down, these are the images you should put in your bedroom.
3. When you are choosing colors for your bedroom add passionate colors such as reds, or deep purples. Remember colors can stir up emotions; perhaps warm colors will work better for you such as caramel tones or dark oranges. 4. Your bed is the heart of the bedroom and it will pump life into the room. Turn up the intimacy by making your bedroom feel closer, purchasing a platform bed. Make sure your sheets smell fresh; a small sprinkle of light scented powder will do the trick.
5. Lighting sets the mood of any room. Add a dimmer to your bedroom lighting for when you want to switch from a bright friendly room to a warm and intimate bedroom. Keep in mind for your bedroom lighting, the more exotic the better, a lava lamp will add intimacy to your bedroom.
