Designing a dream bedroom in real life can be expensive, time consuming, and physically challenging. The Sims
Since the first installment of the series was released in 2000, "The Sims" has been a top selling PC game. In 2002, the first game set the record for the top selling PC game of all time with 6.3 million copies sold, according to Gamespot. As of July 2010, there have been three games released in the series. While players can actually create and control the actions that make up their digital person's entire life, a big aspect of the game has always been the building component. Players can design entire homes for their Sims, including bedrooms, and customize the the shape and style of the room by choosing walls, floors, and furniture, organizing everything exactly as they want it.
Bedroom Decoration

Beginning with picking a favorite bed and choosing a design for the sheets, players select each item that goes in the room individually, customizing the style, color, and overall appearance. Players can choose from various items, including walls, windows, pets, floors, rugs, and chairs. The only drawback to this game is the inability to place objects manually-- has a pre-determined location it automatically appears in.
Interior Design Challenge
"Interior Design Challenge" is a free online game from i-dressup.com. Players are given a display of an empty room, and then control the rest from that point. After choosing a wall and floor type, users can add just about any additional items for room decor, including plants, windows, electronics, beds, and miscellaneous accessories. After choosing, each item can be placed in exactly the preferred position by clicking and dragging to the desired spot.
