Get Rid Of Human Urine Odor From A Mobile Home Bathroom

Heavy urine odors in the bathroom are overwhelming.

Whether it comes from a potty-training child or an elderly parent who suffers from incontinence, frequent accidents in your mobile home bathroom can lead to an overwhelmping urine odor. Urine has a protein in it called urea. Most surface cleaners do nothing to break down the odor-causing proteins, resulting in only a temporary fix for urine smells. To get rid of the human urine odor in your mobile home bathroom, use supplies that break down and absorb uric acid so your bathroom can be completely deodorized.

Instructions

1. Mix enzymatic pet odor neutralizer and water in a bucket according to the manufacturer's directions.

2. Put on rubber gloves to protect your hands from germs and bacteria. Soak a clean cloth in the enzyme solution. Wring out excess moisture.

3. Wipe down all surfaces in the mobile home bathroom where urine has come in contact. Include the areas surrounding the toilet and the entire floor surface. Allow the enzyme solution to sit on the surface for 10 to 15 minutes to break down and absorb the proteins from the urine.

4. Empty out the enzyme solution and rinse out the bucket. Fill the bucket with 1 gallon of hot water. Add 2 cups of white vinegar and 1/2 cup of baking soda to make an all-purpose cleansing solution that deodorizes the bathroom surfaces.

5. Dampen a clean cloth with the vinegar and baking soda solution. Wash the walls, bathtub, sink and toilet to clean and deodorize the bathroom and remove the urine smell. Use a mop to clean the floor. Rinse the cloth frequently throughout the cleaning process.

6. Moisten two cotton balls with 2 drops of essential oil on each. Use lemon essential oil, vanilla or mint to absorb odor and add a fresh scent.
