Installing a bathroom sink drain valve is great way to improve the look of an old sink. Bathroom valve installation kits include everything needed for simple installation. Instructions
1. Insert the drain valve into the drain opening of the sink. Align the valve hole with the opening for the horizontal rod, which should be positioned toward the rear of the sink.
2. Insert the pivot seat, gasket and horizontal rod into the base. Use an adjustable wrench to secure them with the included nut.
3. Slide the strap and the screw over the valve rod then over the horizontal rod. Manually tighten the screw at the top of the assembly and slide and squeeze the metal clip over the horizontal rod.
4. Check if the sink drain valve works by pulling the drain valve handle behind the faucet up and down. Make further adjustments to the drain valve lever if necessary.
