You can control how intense the look is by how many coats of tined glaze you apply. Regardless, the technique helps to establish a sense of sophistication in the room.

Lamps wield an enormous influence over the look of a room. For example, a near effortless way to achieve a sense of chic in a bedroom is by hanging a large chandelier in the middle of the bedroom.
